On 4th February, Zhuo Dalin, Deputy Secretary of Chongqing Beibei District Committee, and other leaders visited Western Science City (Beibei Section) of Chongqing to investigate and research important projects, and visited a number of key enterprises in the park. At 11:00 a.m., Secretary Zhuo and others visited Opto-Intel Technologies Co., Ltd. to learn about the construction of the semiconductor packaging localisation project. On behalf of the company, Mr Zhang Sen, Deputy General Manager of Opto-intel, extended a warm welcome to them.

Zhang Sen introduced the company's development history in Chongqing and expressed the confidence that Opto-intel is rooted in Chongqing and is optimistic about the future prospects. Secretary Zhuo and others expressed their recognition and praise after hearing the story of how Opto-intel established a complete production line and achieved mass production and shipment of equipment in only 9 months.

Immediately after that, the two sides carried out in-depth exchanges on the innovative research and development of the semiconductor packaging products featured by Opto-intel. Mr Zhuo, the secretary of Opto-intel, learnt in detail about the R&D, design, manufacturing, application areas and market sales of our equipment, and said, " The featured semiconductor encapsulation equipment of Opto-intel is equipped with innovative technology highlights and has a wide range of application areas, which is in line with the current market demand. This project is suitable for the development of local leading industries in Chongqing, and will definitely be able to promote the prosperous development of the superior sensor cluster industry in Beibei District in the future."

Subsequently, they came to the first floor of the company, where the Chongqing "semiconductor packaging test verification public service platform" has just been completed and unveiled. Around the Chongqing "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system construction goals, Opto-intel as a sense of social responsibility and sense of mission of the private sector, and actively respond to the call for policy. We built this platform in cooperation with the School of Electronic Information Engineering of Southwest University, Zhongke Core Network, and Mige Lab. The signing ceremony was held on 5 September 2023, and the construction of the platform was completed in only 4 months.

The Semiconductor Packaging and Testing and Verification Public Service Platform mainly focuses on the advanced preparation technologies and capabilities of intelligent sensing chips, and provides a full set of technology and process development and verification services for the application areas of power semiconductors (SiC, GaN, MOSFET, IGBT, etc.), high-end optoelectronic sensing chips, MEMS sensing chips, and semiconductor laser packaging and testing. It not only promotes the formation of a more complete local electronic components supporting system, but also has a great advantage in the realisation of technological autonomy and device industrialisation.

At the end of this visit, Secretary Zhuo expressed his hope that Opto-intel will maintain its strong momentum of development, continue to enhance its focus on product development and technological innovation, and build a good featured series of products.
